Continuing from the previous tutorial on patterning in Illustrator we take the patterns developed in Illustrator and import them into Rhino.  From there we demonstrate Rhino’s CurveBoolean and FlowAlongSrf commands to demonstrate how quickly we can manipulate our 2d Illustrator pattern into 3d forms.

A tutorial video demonstrationg the speed and ease of patterning using Adobe Illustrator’s BLEND tool. This is meant to be part 1 of a multi-part tutorial. In part 2 we will import these into Rhino.
