Revit tips and tricks

While Zach spends the day doing generative geometry, I spend most of my days working in Revit.  So I thought that perhaps people would like to learn some of the things I have figured out only after many long hours of working in the program.

Today we’ll start with a few keyboard shortcuts that I use all of the time.  Not super advanced, but timesavers nonetheless.  This is a short list, I will add more as I think of them.  If you have shortcuts that you use frequently, feel free to post in comments and let us know about those as well.

Quick Grasshopper Intro at NJIT

I’m a little late getting this post out but for anyone interested Crisis Modes is a one-week intensive design workshop to be held in New York City from August 17-21.

The workshop will take place in a studio setting and will be devoted to exploring relational design strategies and digital design methodologies for speculative infrastructures. New York City, with its breadth of ecological and urban complexity and in particular its urbanizing industrialized waterways, will be the primary context explored.

I will be presenting SHoP’s DIFFA Dining By Design project on Wednesday night at 7pm as well.
